Leonell Teape
CHAIRMAN, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICE, PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER.
In 2002 at the age of 19 and while still in university, he started his first business, a car wash. His financial pursuits led him to subsequently own and operate several other types of businesses including car rental, farm store, restaurant and landscaping, which remained successful for the periods in which they were open. In 2013, he took on the challenge of non-foreclosure of a Jamaican Nursing Home and was successful in his attempts.
Leonell is responsible for the strategic direction, performance and overall operations of the B.O.K. Group and all of its divisions. He led B.O.K.’s expansion into foreign countries and diverse operations while continuously growing its investments in nursing care and retail.
In addition to his Ministerial responsibilities within the Christian faith, he is Chairman of the Group’s Foundation which extends services to the needy in support of betterment of life. He is a graduate of Northern Caribbean University, an esteemed husband and a proud father of one.
SEMETRA TEAPE
VICE CHAIRMAN, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION.
She joined the Group in 2014 as investor in the B.O.K. brand and has been instrumental in supporting the development of the companies. She is a Director of all B.O.K.’s subsidiaries and affiliates.
A pharmacist by profession with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Technology, Jamaica, Semetra began her career in retail in 2008. She subsequently owned and operated a Pharmacy for three years which, after being closed, propelled her into partnership with B.O.K. Her career field extended to distribution and marketing and a subsequent certification in nursing. She has led B.O.K.’s expansion into retail and oversees all new developments.
Semetra is married to Leonell and has one child.
KIRKPATRICK BROWN
DIRECTOR OF SALES AND PROJECTS AND THE CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER.
He began his career as a certified Electrician in 2009 with a Diploma in Industrial Maintenance. Two years after and in search of a more rewarding and meaningful life, he became a Firefighter. His involvement in B.O.K. began in 2015 and after engaging in the nursing field, he successfully pursued certification as an Emergency Medical Technician at the University of the West Indies, Mona in 2017.
Kirkpatrick is the initiator of B.O.K. Wear with the involvement of his wife as administrator. He oversees all Group operations and ensures all directives, plans and projects are completed in accordance with guidelines and regulations.
ADRIAN MCCALLUM
DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION and CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER.
The B.O.K. Group was propelled into the relevant niches of technology in 2015 when his technological and organizational skills which were introduced. He is responsible for the development of strategic partnerships which foster the development and longevity of the Group’s missions.
He completed business studies at Manning’s School in 2011 and after a full year, further realized his dream of becoming a Firefighter in fulfillment of his desire to serve others and his country. He currently also possesses a Diploma in General Construction.
